    Hiking

Here you can see a very interesting fountain. Here a boat fountain was built along the walkway, consisting of a harmonious construction of metal and water jet wickerwork. The main construction elements are metal pipes with small openings. Fine jets of water flow from it, covering the body of the boat.

It's a ship made of water. Brilliant idea.

    Running

For the best experience, aim to run/walk just next to the waterline, where you’ll find the “sweet spot” (the firm-packed, slightly wet sand). This section offers the most stable and comfortable surface—much easier on your legs than loose dry sand.

'Golden tip': Set out around 6:30–7:00 in summer to catch the sunrise over the Mediterranean. With the sea to the east, the sun rises directly above the water—creating a calm, golden start to your run and arguably the most magical moment of the day.

The Valencia Promenade invites you to a relaxed coastal experience, where the sound of the waves accompanies every step. This route takes you along wide, golden sandy beaches, such as Malvarrosa, flanked by palm trees and with the deep blue of the Mediterranean always in sight. It's an easy and accessible walk, perfect for enjoying the city's vibrant seaside atmosphere, with flat, well-maintained terrain underfoot.

To plan your visit, keep in mind that this promenade is very popular and can get crowded, especially on weekends and during peak season. There are no permit requirements or fees, and its location in the city of Valencia makes it easily accessible by public transport. For a quieter experience, I recommend going first thing in the morning or at sunset, when the light is softer and there are fewer people.

This promenade is a hub of social and cultural activity, reflecting Valencian life by the sea. In addition to being an excellent place for a walk, you'll find a wide variety of restaurants and cafes where you can sample local cuisine, as well as play areas for children. It's one of the best walks in Valencia for those looking to combine light exercise with leisure and culture.
