The Hôtel de Vauluisant was built in the 16th century on the foundations of a former Cistercian monastery, which burned down in 1524 after a major city fire .
• The current building, with its characteristic turrets, was built around 1550 by Antoine Hennequin, the then tax collector .
• In the 17th century, the de Mesgrigny family extended the complex with a second wing .
