6,870 meters into the tunnel. Down 212 meters below sea level and then back up again. There's a small sidewalk, but no bike lane; I preferred to stay on the road. Make sure your lights are on!

Cycling
We went through the tunnel on Sunday morning. There was traffic, but rather little. Well lit, wide roads, but the small sidewalk is not recommended for cycling.
There are many alcoves, I also had to take off my jacket as I got very warm. I didn't really notice the "steep" climb either, as I didn't see it that way in the tunnel. I found it a good ride… not as bad as others say. If you've already come this far, you can manage it too 😉👍
