Gravel riding
Sandy dunes, formed by wind accumulation. Their formation is linked to the end of the ice age (11-12 thousand years ago), when wind-blown sands created aeolian forms. The Międzybórz Dunes, reaching a relative height of over 10 m (the peak at 114.5 m above sea level), are stabilized thanks to permanently growing vegetation: pines, birches, and oaks with rich undergrowth. On the dune area, there is an educational trail showing its most interesting fragments, e.g. a 160-year-old monumental pine, or the Cross of the Insurgents of 1863.
