In this extraordinary landscape situation, the oriental building and the kitchen building opposite were built between 1744 and 1748 according to plans by the court architect Joseph St. Pierre, which served the festivities of the Bayreuth court. These two buildings are grouped around a separate garden ground floor, which was reconstructed in 1984 based on a copper engraving from 1748.
