On the trail past the glacier, there are several very popular photo spots. There is always a magnificent view of the Fiescher Glacier. The Fiescher Glacier is located on the south side and is therefore particularly threatened by melting. After the neighboring Aletsch Glacier, it is the second-longest glacier in the Alps, but is comparatively narrow.
