Old Railway Bridge over the Lusatian Neisse

Highlight • Bridge

It used to be the bridge on the Lubsko–Bad Muskau railway line. It was rebuilt as a pedestrian/cyclist bridge and is a good way to reach Łeknica and the Babina pit. From the bridge you have a good view of the bathing park and the tower villa and of course the Neisse. Be careful during or after rain: the wood is slippery!

The Neisse Bridge is actually called the double bridge, connecting the western (German) and eastern (Polish) parts of the Fürst-Pückler-Park. Until 2007, visitors to the park still had to show their ID if they wanted to cross the German-Polish border, which is marked by the Neisse River. In 1945 German soldiers blew up the bridge, which was rebuilt at the beginning of the 21st century and opened to visitors in 2004. polish-online.com/fotos/fuerst-pueckler-park-bad-muskau/doppelbruecke.php#Foto-Polen

Orangery

Highlight • Monument

The orangery is the seat of the "Fürst-Pückler-Park Bad Muskau" foundation. The building, which Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau had built in 1844 according to plans by Ludwig Persius in the Gothic-Moorish style, is also used as an event location. polish-online.com/fotos/fuerst-pueckler-park-bad-muskau/orangerie.php#Foto-Polen

The water and landscaping work on the Hermannsneiße in the Fürst-Pückler-Park Bad Muskau was completed in 2014 after almost three years of construction and the Herrmannsneiße has been flowing again in its historic bed since then.
