November 9, 2024, High Peak and Monsal Trail Gravel Loop

What a way to spend a Saturday. It started with a Bikeability Fix session in Harpur Hill and finished with this epic ride. 🤟🏻✌🏻 What a route. Absolutely loved it. Without doubt the most enjoyable gravel ride I’ve had in a long time. Even if I had to hike-a-bike up the last two climbs as just couldn’t get any traction. Will definitely be doing it again……and stopping in Matlock for Fish & Chips! 👌🏻

A lovely day out riding in the Peaks with a small selection of Glorious Gravel Club riders. Love that descent down to Cromford. Happy I added that to the route instead of cutting it out. Well worth it for the smiles and the biggest Bakewell Tart in the world on the cafe stop! 👌🏻 Top day on the bike.
