To make the most of the weather, I thought I'd take a walk outside the front door. And so I got a premium hiking trail from the Swabian Alb side. Nice tour ... a bit muddy but through fruit trees up to Teck Castle and along the trails ...
Great tour, good aperol at Teck Castle. Very nice viewpoints.
Nice but very muddy round. Hiking poles and good tread required
Today we did a tour from the "Hochgehberge" series. It's called "hochgehaelt". As citizens of the beautiful country of Hadeln, we naturally read "hochge-haelt" and not "hochgeh-adelt" as the marketing agency probably had in mind. The tour was very nice, we had fantastic views and, away from the Teck, we had a lot of peace and quiet. In addition to the view from the Teck tower and the beautiful Ràuber ruins, our absolute highlight was the view from the Breitenstein. For us flatlanders, it was sensational. There was a village festival in Ochsenwang. Here the path led past a cool drink and through the beer tent. The extensive orchards below the Breitenstein and the Teck were also very nice. Wonderful tour, great sights along the way, but steep ascents and descents. It took us all today in 33 degrees.
A really beautiful route with lots of views and different paths. I would definitely recommend this tour 😁
"Uphill struggle" and slid down on the muddy ground 😅 And was invited to a cheese fondue on the way. Super delicious 😋
I would suggest this trail as expert. I found it really tougher than "hochgehflogen" which is categorised as expert. It is difficult and dangerous in winter. But a great trail indeed.
A wonderful tour. Very well maintained hiking trails and very well signposted. Great viewpoints and highlights. The tour leads from the Hörnle hiking car park (near Bissingen an der Teck) via Teck Castle - Yellow Rock - Rauber ruins with barbecue area - Bühl view to the Breitenstein viewing rock with barbecue area, further to Bleichehäusle and back to the Hörnle viewing platform at the Hörnle hiking car park. A nice and highly recommended tour 🤩
