From the nearby car park you can start a short walk to the remains of Santa Creu de Rodes (Iglesia de Santa Helena) - or hike longer tours on the Way of St. James

An amazing place and even better it you get here hiking. You can easily get here with a car but I don't think it is quite the same. Come early in the morning for peace and quiet and spectacular views.

Admission moderate (no 20€ for 2 adults and 2 children). The wifi key and a QR code hang at the entrance. This means that one cell phone can be used as an audio guide for the whole family :)

The village benefited from pilgrimages to the monastery and had around 300 inhabitants at its peak. A small suburb has developed on either side of the entrance gates. The living quarters were very small.
