The trail follows along the banks of Daley Brook, you eventually reach a snowmobile bridge. Take a break to watch for wildlife before continueing your journey, and then keep your eye out for the trail which veers north off the snowmobile trail.

Unless you have your own watercraft, you will need some sort of public water transportation to get to this trail. There are local businesses that offer water taxi service to and from the trailheads, as well as a variety of boat rentals, from canoes and kayaks, to fishing boats and pontoons. The National Park Service does not offer this.

Starting from Locator Lake, you can explore multiple Interior lakes with their own beautiful features. The park has canoes and rowboats at the end of the trail. It was quite muddy so the boardwalk was a welcomed sight! There are a few boardwalks throughout the trail. Regardless, the mushrooms that lined the trail are very interesting. If you take the shortcut through the wetlands, you might see some beaver activity!
