From Vorder Bärchi, the route descends steeply on a cart track. From Unter Bärchi, I had to push my bike in a few places. Still, it's a very worthwhile option for getting to Bauen.

A small asphalt road leads up to the top station of the Wilerli cable car station (not for bikes). Thanks to the solid surface, you can easily get up from the Erstfeldertal and admire the magnificent view of the Central Swiss mountains on the way here.

The Haldi Chapel, one of the landmarks of the Schattdorf mountains, is located on the Sodberg. The chapel was built in 1932 and services are still held there regularly today.

The Erstfeldertal has remained very quiet and wild, as the only asphalt road does not lead to the end of the valley, but rather up to this area (Ämmeten). If you ride up on your bike, you can give your legs a rest, as the terrain is flatter here. Thanks to the open meadow landscape, you can also enjoy beautiful views in various directions.

In this sharp bend there is a passing place for large vehicles and a bench with a wonderful view of the lake. Here you can safely get off your bike away from the road and enjoy the view of the Uri region.
