I went up Montemarcello during a circular tour from Marina di Massa (https://www.komoot.com/it-it/tour/1120066516). The climb is not easy because it is very long even if there are no impossible slopes. Once you get to the top, the first thing to do is go to the viewpoint and enjoy the sea view over the entire gulf and the entire coast, on one side towards La Spezia, on the other towards Versilia. After this, the advice is to refresh yourself by eating or drinking something in one of the two places along the main road.

Yes, it's worth it. Exceptional view. To get to the terrace with the viewpoint, you need to take a small road that passes through a residential area of beautiful houses and villas. The small road takes off from the main paved road but I suggest not cycling on it because there are many people on foot and it is narrow. You need to have respect. Approximately in less than 10 minutes you arrive at the belvedere.
