My tip is, Komoot doesn’t seem to know when a hiking route is closed temporarily & constantly says “U turn”. Not sure why it doesn’t seem to automatically reroute, so manually forced a reroute to destination 3 times!

Waltham Windmill is a six-sailed windmill, still in full working order, being one of the very few windmills like this in the United Kingdom. There is a museum, restaurant, old-fashioned sweetshop and facilities on site.

great views and remoteness not far from major access points. lots of gates to go through/over if on a bike so bear that in mind
