Waltham Windmill is a six-sailed windmill, still in full working order, being one of the very few windmills like this in the United Kingdom. There is a museum, restaurant, old-fashioned sweetshop and facilities on site.

great views and remoteness not far from major access points. lots of gates to go through/over if on a bike so bear that in mind

good brakes needed here or you’ll be in trouble if you pick too much speed up. also spits you straight on to the barton street which is busy and not ideal for biking on.
