San Geronimo Ridge Fire Road extends from Peter’s Dam to the end of Samuel P Taylor State Park, making it among the most scenic (and longest) fire roads in Marin.
Hikers, bicyclists, and equestrians wishing to link together longer outings use this gravel dirt road that connects with White’s Hill and Cascade Canyon preserves, as well as many popular trails and roads in the MMWD watershed. It runs on a ridge with spectacular views above Kent Lake to the west and for about 5 miles through Gary Giacomini Open Space Preserve to the east.

Mountain biking
Quite a bit of elevation climbing on this loop, sure does help having a class 1 e-bike at 67 yrs. Loved the ride!
