A beautiful town known as the town of the bridges (hence its name) and the towers, which has already been mentioned in documents since the mid-9th century and since the final years of the Middle Ages it was linked to the Casa del Marqués de Santillana, first, and to that of the Infantado, later. Hence, one of those that stands out is that of the Infantado (now the venue for exhibitions), and also that of Orejón de la Lama, both from the 15th century.
